A History graduate of UCLA and an alumnus of Emory University School of Law, Sam drew inspiration from his mother's longstanding dedication as a workers' compensation attorney. From day one, he turned down lucrative defense positions to focus on representing those seeking justice—not insurance companies.

With over 30 years of experience, Robin Jacobs has devoted her career to standing up for those who need it most. As Of Counsel at the Law Office of Sam Schmuel, APC, she continues her mission of delivering compassionate, client-focused legal representation—helping individuals navigate the complexities of workers' compensation and beyond.

Michael Partovi earned his B.A. in Sociology from the University of California San Diego and his J.D. from California Western School of Law, and was admitted to the California Bar in 2025. At the Law Office of Sam Schmuel, APC, Michael brings a disciplined, client-focused approach to representing injured workers. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys gym training, playing basketball and soccer, and traveling internationally—with a goal of visiting at least one new country each year.
